Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and steering.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs accurately and safely.
  • Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
  • Repair or replace vehicle systems such as brakes, alignments, wheel assemblies, and vehicle transmission systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain detailed service records and prepare accurate auto estimating reports for repairs performed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Requirements

  • Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • At least 5 years of automotive diagnostic experience
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, vehicle maintenance, and system repairs including powertrain and transmission work.
  • Familiarity with the use of automotive diagnostic tools for troubleshooting modern vehicles.
  • Mechanical proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair equipment.
  • Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical repairs.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle suspension system repair and alignment procedures.
  • Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; relevant certifications in engine repair or welding are advantageous.

Pay rate and commission plan based off of experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
