Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and steering.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs accurately and safely.
- Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
- Repair or replace vehicle systems such as brakes, alignments, wheel assemblies, and vehicle transmission systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed service records and prepare accurate auto estimating reports for repairs performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- At least 5 years of automotive diagnostic experience
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, vehicle maintenance, and system repairs including powertrain and transmission work.
- Familiarity with the use of automotive diagnostic tools for troubleshooting modern vehicles.
- Mechanical proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair equipment.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical repairs.
- Strong understanding of vehicle suspension system repair and alignment procedures.
- Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; relevant certifications in engine repair or welding are advantageous.

Pay rate and commission plan based off of experience.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
