The successful candidate will be responsible for writing estimates for repair work, maintaining open communication with both staff and customers, providing an exceptional customer experience, and managing the day to day operations of the store. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, has a strong communication skills, and integrity. Candidates with at least 4 years of automotive experience are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Support team members in their roles, enforce company policies, and ensure smooth and efficient shop operations. Provide guidance, training, and accountability to improve the team.
- Cashflow & Financial Management: Monitor daily sales, deposits, and expenditures to maintain positive cashflow. Ensure accurate handling of payments, adherence to financial procedures.
- Customer Service & Retention: Lead by example in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Resolve escalated customer concerns, ensure consistent service quality. Treat customers with honesty and integrity to maintain customer base.
- Employee Scheduling: Create and maintain efficient employee schedules that meet business needs while optimizing labor costs.
- Estimate Writing: Prepare accurate estimates for repair work on a variety of passenger and commercial vehicles. Present estimates to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with both staff and customers. Provide updates on repair progress and address any concerns or questions customers may have.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work station for efficient day-to-day operations. Multi-task effectively, including answering phones, speaking to customers, and writing estimates.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols around vehicles and heavy equipment. Promote a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
