Job Description and Duties:
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and work orders; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials. · Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by fastening parts and sub-assemblies with consistent use of a stud gun.
- Performs daily 5S inspections. · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing any related work as needed.
- Experience with Electrical Wiring and troubleshooting a plus but is not required.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Manufacturing Experience, Safety & Quality Focus, Punctual and Dependable.
- Must have the ability to use Hand Tools, Power Tools and Exercise Good Judgment.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written work instructions. Have the ability to work independently and with other members of the team.
- Physical Demands: Repetitive lifting of up to 40 lbs. is required along with continual use of hands.
- The ability to stand for long periods of time is required, along with repetitive bending, stooping, reaching and occasional use of step ladders. Wearing of safety equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, face shield and hearing protection when required. Note: Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that can be hot in the summer months and cool in the winter.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Note: Must be able to speak, write and understand English proficiently.
