JOB OVERVIEW AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our Hartford start-up team. This role will be primarily a delivery driver and also perform warehouse duties depending on business needs. Objective is to ensure customers receive their HVAC/R products on time and in excellent condition while helping maintain smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver HVAC/R equipment and supplies to customer locations.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, verifying order accuracy.
- Provide professional, courteous service to customers at delivery sites.
- Assist with warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, picking, and staging orders.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and vehicle environment.
- Support branch operations and team goals as part of the new branch start-up.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Prior delivery driving and/or warehouse experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required.
- Box Truck Experience is a strong plus
- Clean driving record with ability to safely operate delivery vehicles.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse tasks.
- Forklift certification a plus (training available).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable to a start-up environment.
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail and customer focus
- Excellent attendance and strong worth ethic
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and DMV record check
