Architects/Designers

Meier Architects is seeking talented Architects/Designers to join our New York office. We are open to candidates of varying experience levels, from entry-level to senior, and the role will be tailored to the successful applicant's skills and background.

We are looking for people with a thoughtful approach to design, project development, and documentation, and who can learn and apply our design philosophies across diverse project types. Candidates should be familiar with the studio’s body of work and demonstrate a strong design sensibility. This role involves active participation in all design and delivery phases, from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture required
• 3-15 years of post-graduate professional experience, with demonstrated project contributions
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
• Licensure or active pursuit of licensure in the United States is preferred
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Experience with D5 Render is desirable
• Strong conceptual thinking, design sensibility, and graphic communication skills
• Experience in client and consultant communications
• Proactive and confident working with complex international teams
• Fundamental understanding of the design process
• Practical understanding of materials, specifications, building systems, construction processes, and methodologies
• Ability to engage thoughtfully in a collaborative studio environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (we can assist with obtaining appropriate work authorization, if needed)

Compensation

Compensation for this role is based on experience, qualifications, and education. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $140,000, depending on experience. (The salary offered will be based on the length and relevance of the candidate's work history and the skills developed through their professional experiences.)
