Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The Foreman is subject to possible exposure to extreme year-round outdoor environmental conditions and may also be subject to working weekends and holidays.

The Foreman position is responsible for all activities that take place on their assigned job site.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for all job site management activities of the rigging crew.
- Develops, plans and implements crew and alignment with customer and salesmen with direction of job.
- Directs workforce to meet operational goals in terms of volume, cost, quality, safety, and schedule.
- Directly supervises and works with one or more machinery moving crews.
- Hands on supervisory role with the ability to effectively move machinery utilizing forklifts, skates, and jacks (not cranes).
- Develop, train and instruct machinery moving crews in best known rigging operation practices and procedures including safety.
- Work closely with safety personnel in coordinating safety training, accident and injury investigations and reporting and equipment or property damage incidents investigations and reporting.
- Build customer and employee relationships with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Develop highly effective relationships with customers, business partners, crating operations management, and support staff.
- Effectively manage job site projects by organizing all project information to ensure they are accurate and contain all necessary information.
- Consistently demonstrates professional conduct representative of MEI corporate mission, vision, and values.
- Must be able to drive to customer job sites and work and direct all activates on customer job sites.
- High School diploma or equivalent, with continuing education in Business, Project or Construction Management or related degree a plus.
- Minimum three to five (3-5) years proven machinery moving foreman experience or comparable field preferably within the construction, manufacturing or rigging or machinery moving industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, management, supervisory and project management skills.
- Highly self-directed and motivated.
- Must have extensive experience moving machinery with forklift, skating, leveling and anchoring of machines.
- Must have own hand tools.

- Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications and other business software (such as Wright Plan/CRM) as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
