This position is a full-time remote or hybrid position and most work will be performed in a home office setting. The Events Manager will frequently use a computer, keyboard / mouse, cellular or office telephone, and regular business office equipment. Extended periods working in a seated position. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Strategic Event Planning & Program Development
- Develop and execute an annual events strategy aligned with corporate marketing, business development, and brand positioning goals.
- Translate business priorities (e.g., pursuits, client engagement, talent recruitment) into targeted event programs.
- Design event concepts that reflect technical expertise, project portfolio strengths, and corporate reputation.
- Build integrated event calendars across regions, business lines, and strategic accounts to avoid conflicts and maximize impact.
- Align event objectives with pipeline development, client relationship management, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Lead full lifecycle management of events, including kickoff, planning, production, execution, and post-event wrap-up.
- Define event scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics for each program.
- Manage venue sourcing, site inspections, contract negotiations, and logistics coordination.
- Oversee all operational elements including catering, staging, AV production, signage, branding, and guest flow.
- Troubleshoot real-time operational issues during live events with minimal disruption.
- Partner with business development teams to support client-facing events.
- Coordinate with HR and talent acquisition teams for recruitment fairs, university outreach, and employer branding events.
- Work closely with executive leadership teams to plan town halls, leadership meetings, and board-level events.
- Act as primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, agencies, and production partners.

- Support development of invitations, registration platforms, and attendee communications.
- Coordinate messaging alignment between executive speakers, technical presenters, and marketing narratives.
- Support social media and PR amplification of major events and milestones.
- Serve as lead on-site event manager for high-profile or complex events.
- Oversee registration, guest experience, speaker management, and VIP coordination.
- Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are followed, particularly for construction site events or public-facing activations.
- Resolve issues in real time while maintaining a professional and seamless attendee experience.
- Conduct structured post-event debriefs with stakeholders and vendors.
- Measure success against KPIs such as attendance, engagement, lead generation, media coverage, and client feedback.
- Produce comprehensive post-event reports with insights and recommendations.
- Maintain event databases and documentation for institutional knowledge and future planning.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in event management, preferably in B2B, AEC, or professional services environments.
- Proven experience managing large-scale corporate or industry events.
- Proven ability to build strong, productive relationships across all levels of the organization, including presenting to and influencing senior executives.
- Experienced in executing integrated marketing programs, including lead generation tactics and ROI measurement.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and complex logistics.
