Manufacturing Warehouse, Shipping & Production Team Member
The following are the duties and responsibilities for the position:
· Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly transporting, unboxing and storing goods in designated locations.
· Organize and sort items on shelving, bins and overhangs according to company standards.
· Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and/or shipped.
· Assist in the storage and movement of raw material drums, palettes, boxes and containers.
· Perform quick and thorough cleaning of production vessels, containers, and tools.
· Work with and assist the Production and Shipping teams.
· Handle all phases of shipping orders. Prioritize, check, pack and ship orders via UPS, USPS, FedEx. Ensure correct items are shipped.
· Assist in picking and packing of finished goods for shipping.
· Supports and assists with daily cleaning functions, as needed. Empty Corrugated Cardboard Bin, loading dumpsters, and assisting in trash processing.
· Provides continuous flow of product and components to all production areas. Ensures supplies and components are organized.
· Follow company health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
· All other job-related duties which include material handling, material labeling and staging as directed by supervisor.
· Assist in the manufacturing, shipping and other additional processes as required.
Requirements:
· Experience, ability and willingness to handle heavy bulk materials and drums.
· Strong ability to multi-task. Must be a hands-on, team player.
· Precisely follows work orders and instructions.
· Experience using a forklift, new certification will be required.
· Adheres to all plant safety policies and procedures.
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
· Must be extremely reliable, able to work independently and quickly, and have a strong attention to detail.
Wage:
· Full Time Employee
· Hourly Wage $16-17.00 (Depending upon Experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
