Responsibilities
- Operate knuckle boom cranes safely and efficiently to load, unload, and position materials such as concrete mixers, heavy machinery, and construction supplies
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to execute lifting plans and project timelines effectively
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of crane operations, including securing loads and ensuring stability during lifts
- Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, equipment usage, and safety inspections
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper signaling, load limits, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
- Support other heavy equipment operations such as dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, crane, front loader truck, dump truck, water truck, roll-off truck, farm machinery, and tanker as needed
Skills
- Proven experience operating knuckle boom cranes in construction or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including Caterpillar machinery and similar brands
- Ability to interpret load charts, safety guidelines, and operational manuals effectively
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving heavy trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, or tanker trucks
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards
- Knowledge of various construction machinery including dozer, loader operation, backhoe operation, excavator, and other heavy equipment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site supervisors
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely in outdoor environments

Pay: $18.00 - $27.16 per hour
