Position Overview
The Logistics Manager at Megger is responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution of electrical testing equipment and related products. This role ensures efficient, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods across domestic and international markets while maintaining Megger’s high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and global distribution of Megger products
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring cost-effective, timely delivery through carrier selection, route optimization, and performance monitoring
- Oversee warehouse operations (receiving, storage, fulfillment) while maintaining accurate inventory levels and implementing effective control procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, customer service, and global teams to align supply chain activities and meet demand requirements
- Ensure compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade laws, maintaining accurate documentation
- Analyze logistics performance and costs, driving continuous improvement initiatives, process efficiencies, and vendor negotiations
- Lead, coach, and develop logistics and warehouse personnel, establishing KPIs and fostering a culture of safety and accountability
- Monitor and improve customer delivery performance, resolving logistics issues and tracking key metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and cost per shipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- 5–10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Proven track record managing domestic and international logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of logistics systems (ERP, WMS, TMS)
- Understanding of global shipping, customs regulations, and trade compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret logistics data and KPIs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and supply chain analytics tools
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
