What You'll Do
- Define the Enterprise Strategy: Drive the enterprise-wide strategy for data center migration, consolidation, and cloud adoption, aligning our technical roadmap with long-term business goals.
- Build the Program, Don't Just Run It: Develop and own the comprehensive program roadmap, business cases, and financial models to justify and track our transformation.
- Lead Program Governance: Establish and lead a robust governance framework (steering committees, workstreams) to ensure alignment and accountability across the entire organization.
- Own Execution and Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end execution of the migration program, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources with minimal disruption to the business.
- Manage Financials and Vendors: Own the entire multi-million dollar program budget, from forecasting to tracking. Lead contract negotiations and manage key vendor and cloud provider relationships.
- Be the Executive Communicator: Serve as the primary point of contact for all program communications, building strong relationships and delivering clear updates to C-suite and business leaders.
- 15 years of experience in IT Project/Program Management, with a deep background in data center operations, network engineering, or enterprise systems.
- 10 years of experience in a formal Program Management role, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
- 7 years of direct, hands-on experience planning and executing large-scale data center migrations, consolidations, or cloud transformations.
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, with demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate at the executive level.
- Deep understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, networking) and application migration methodologies.
- A "builder" mindset and a "startup mentality" – you are here to build the function, not just operate in a pre-defined one.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing large, complex budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (highly desirable).
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Certified Data Centre Project Management (CDCPM).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework.
