Your Role

Megaport is experiencing significant growth, and we’re looking for an efficient, collaborative, and independent Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us as we scale. Based in our Brisbane HQ, you’ll be deeply connected to our teams - helping shape hiring needs, supporting leaders, and welcoming the next wave of Megaporters. As part of our global TA team, you’ll also have opportunities to recruit in new countries and time zones as we continue to expand across the world.

This role suits someone who’s energized by independence and taking initiative. You’ll be trusted to think on the spot, make confident decisions, and adjust as priorities shift. • Spend time in our Brisbane office to stay connected to our team, culture, and the buzz of what’s happening.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment across a mix of roles, helping us grow with the right people at the right time.
• Source talent in creative and thoughtful ways – using networks, outreach, and great conversations.
• Work closely with hiring managers, supporting them with insights and helping them navigate the hiring process.
• Create a smooth, friendly, and memorable candidate experience at every step.
• Keep our processes tidy and organised, from ATS updates to contracts and onboarding support.
• Provide support, guidance, and knowledge-sharing to members of the TA team, helping build confidence and capability.
• Contribute to a strong team culture by sharing best-practice recruitment approaches, tools, and insights with the wider TA team.
• Share ideas that help us improve and evolve our recruitment processes, enhancing candidate experience as we grow.

• 3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, and the confidence that comes from helping a range of teams find great people.
• Collaborative and friendly - you’ll enjoy being part of the HQ team, sharing ideas, and contributing to our culture.
• A natural relationship-builder who enjoys getting to know teams, understanding their needs, and finding great people who fit.
• Someone who can work independently when needed, make thoughtful decisions, and bring a calm, steady presence when things are moving quickly.
• Comfortable switching gears and adapting as priorities evolve - we’re growing, so things can shift in the best possible way.
• Organised and reliable, with a knack for keeping things moving smoothly behind the scenes.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to be concise and effective when collaborating across global teams.
• Passionate about creating a positive candidate experience and representing Megaport with warmth, curiosity, and energy.
• Actively invests in supporting and developing team members, helping lift overall capability within the TA function.
