Software Engineer (4) / Premium Engineer 3

We are seeking an experienced Android Platform Engineer / Software Engineer with strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, C , and the Android platform stack. The engineer will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Android platform components, background services, middleware, and system-level functionality within the Android Framework and AOSP environment.

• Develop and maintain Kotlin-based Android background services and middleware components.
• Work directly within the Android Framework / AOSP codebase.
• Modify, extend, and troubleshoot Android system_server components.
• Work with Android system services such as Activity Manager, Package Manager, and related platform services.
• Develop and maintain Android platform middleware and system-level components.
• Implement and troubleshoot Binder/AIDL-based IPC communication.
• Develop software using Kotlin, Java, and C .
• Analyze complex platform issues, perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve Android platform and system-level issues.
• Maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable platform software.
