Job Overview
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Rep-Women's Contemporary position, located in New York, NY. The role involves managing retail/ buyer relationships, meeting sales targets, and representing the MEGAN RENEE brand. The Sales professional will also be responsible for researching and identifying the specific buyers at department stores, boutiques, or other retail outlets that match their brand's aesthetic, price point, and target customer.
Responsibilities
- MUST HAVE SOME EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH RETAILERS, BUYERS, AND SPECIALTY BOUTIQUES.
- Strong sales, client relationship management, and customer service skills.
- Must be able to present the new seasonal collection to the buyers through various channels, such as wholesale showrooms, trade shows, in-person meetings, or digital platforms using virtual showrooms.
- Experience in fashion retail placement and specialty boutiques especially in women's contemporary fashion.
- Provide the buyer with line sheets, pricing, post-purchase data, analyzing sales performance and suggesting re-orders for top-selling items.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY or from home.
- Relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in similar role is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Marketing, Buying, Business or related field is a plus.
