We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications
- Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Procore to ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain high performance standards
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with design intent
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and federal construction safety standards to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and prepare reports on progress, quality control, and safety compliance
- Facilitate communication between project managers, clients, architects, engineers, and field teams to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on track
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3 (Primavera), Prolog, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and the ability to coordinate complex project timelines effectively
- Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and conducting quality control inspections
- Demonstrated ability in managing budgets, contracts, and project documentation with attention to detail
- Excellent managerial communication skills with experience managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
- Valid certifications such as OSHA 10/30-hour training or higher are preferred; familiarity with Ohmmeter use for electrical testing is a plus
- Construction site experience in commercial or infrastructure projects is essential; familiarity with pipeline projects is advantageous
