What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assessment Psychologist position at Megalithic Psychology, Inc.?
We’re seeking a psychologist in or near Atascadero to conduct cognitive evaluations. Familiarity with the WISC is helpful but not mandatory. The role involves administering assessment tools, scoring protocols, and gathering a brief developmental background.
If you prefer, you may start with non-testing appointments that center on psychosocial interviews and short cognitive check-ins, comparable to an intake paired with an MMSE.
These evaluations support Social Security disability determinations and are generally straightforward. Our administrative staff manages scheduling, logistics, and communication so you can focus solely on the clinical work.

Because these assessments require on-site visits, we are looking for candidates who live close enough to Atascadero to attend appointments in person.
Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per hour
