We are seeking a dependable and organized Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Prepare, pack, label, and stage outgoing orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
- Check products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
- Accurately record shipment and inventory information
- Organize products in designated warehouse locations
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate shipment issues to supervisors or other departments
- Follow all company procedures and workplace safety requirements
- Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to read shipping documents, labels, and basic instructions
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Pay: $25.10 - $30.30 per hour
