Finance Assistant / Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk

Full-Time, 40 hrs per week
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant / Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, accuracy in financial processing, and experience supporting accounting operations. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, and financial recordkeeping.
- Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts (3-way matching)
- Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments (ACH/wire)
- Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
- Assist with month-end close and reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or accounting support
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
