Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities across manufacturing or industrial facilities. Your leadership will ensure that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. You will manage a team of technicians and contractors, implement preventative maintenance programs, and uphold high standards of safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment while ensuring optimal operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing clear direction, training, and support to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance management strategies utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and inventory.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of routine inspections and preventative maintenance for mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), low voltage, high voltage systems, and industrial equipment.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools; coordinate repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or equipment installations with strong project management skills to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards by conducting regular safety audits; enforce lockout/tagout procedures; oversee the safe handling of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with production or manufacturing teams to optimize equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory; utilize CMMS for documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations as needed.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing maintenance data to identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance; familiarity with schematics and technical diagrams is essential.
  • Electrical experience including working with low voltage and high voltage systems; proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters is required.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and facilities management practices to ensure optimal building operations.
  • Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in using CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking; project management skills are a plus.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to supervise multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting industrial equipment using technical manuals.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to high voltage electrical systems and industrial machinery operation.
