Full Charge Bookkeeper

Mega Logistic Inc, megalogisticinc.com , a fast growing logistics company in the City of Industry, has an immediate opening for a full time Bookkeeper. You will work with all aspects of the accounting side to ensure accounting and compliance issues are met with. This is a great opportunity to secure a position with a dynamic and growing company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage accounts payable & receivable.
• Ability to reconcile multiple bank accounts and credit card statements
• Experience working with external CPA and auditors to enter year end data and close out books
• Process invoices and receive payments from customers in QuickBooks.
• Experience with processing payroll via ADP
• Ability to run and interpret monthly financial statements for management to review.
• Collect and coordinate tax return filing for federal / state and financial audits.
• Monitoring organization compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Answer Customer Service emails and phone calls
• Other tasks as requested.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper with strong overall accounting experience in all aspects
• Proven mastery of QuickBooks (required) (Enterprise version is preferred)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accountability and to work independently while functioning as part of a coordinated team.
• Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while working under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Trustworthy with confidential information
• Ability to work in a fast - paced environment
• Ability to follow through and take direction.
• Self-motivated, focused, positive attitude and proactive
• Experience in the Logistics field is a plus!
