Technical Product Manager (Data Engineering)

We are seeking a technically-grounded liaison to bridge our business stakeholders and engineering teams. You will be the key interface, working directly with engineers to drive the strategy and execution of our enterprise data platform and data engineering initiatives. This is not an analytics or data visualization role; the core focus is on the underlying data platform, pipelines, and infrastructure that enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary conduit between business units and data engineering teams, translating business requirements into technical direction for the data platform.
• Lead and influence the roadmap for data products and data warehousing initiatives.
• Collaborate deeply with engineering teams on the design and evolution of our data architecture, schemas, databases, and ETL processes.
• Provide strategic oversight for our data platform, with Snowflake as the primary data warehouse.
  
  

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in a role interfacing with both business and engineering audiences.
• Strong background in the data ecosystem with experience leading data product or data warehousing projects.
• Solid technical understanding of data schemas, relational databases, and modern ETL/ELT processes.
• Ability to engage in deep technical discussions with data engineers; you must "know what they are talking about" without being expected to perform hands-on coding.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud data platform (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift). Direct Snowflake experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise ETL concepts and tools; knowledge of Informatica is beneficial but hands-on expertise is not required.

• Awareness of analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus, but this is not the focus of the role.
