Position Overview
As a Mega Bee Field Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in performing pest control services and bee removal operations across residential and commercial properties. You will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest and bee-related issues, executing tailored treatment plans, documenting your work through detailed service reports, and communicating effectively with clients to ensure lasting results.
This position requires a balance of technical expertise, physical work, and customer service excellence, representing the Mega Bee brand in the field with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations, beehives, and related activity.
- Determine the type, extent, and source of infestations or bee colonies, and develop the most appropriate corrective plan.
- Safely perform pest control treatments using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Perform bee and stinging-insect removals with precision, including extraction of hive material, application of pheromone sealants, and follow-up inspections.
- Prepare clear, professional written service reports, including photos, notes, and recommendations for the customer record.
- Communicate findings and treatment plans to customers in a professional and educational manner.
- Monitor treatment progress and make follow-up visits or adjustments as necessary to ensure control.
- Maintain accurate records through the company’s CRM (GorillaDesk) and complete all digital forms promptly.
- Uphold Mega Bee’s White Glove Standard — keeping vehicles clean, uniforms professional, and communication respectful at all times.
- Upsell and recommend additional services, including ongoing protection plans, termite monitoring, and rodent management when appropriate.
- Maintain and restock truck inventory to ensure readiness for daily routes.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE when handling products, equipment, or during removals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate clients and build long-term relationships.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using hand tools, ladders, and mobile apps for reporting and navigation.
- Sales Awareness: Ability to identify and recommend service opportunities that benefit the client.
- Physical Ability: Capable of climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
- Safety Mindset: Committed to safety and environmental responsibility in all service practices.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
