Position Overview
As a Bee Removal Specialist, you’ll play a key role in performing structural bee removals and corrective treatments across residential and commercial properties. You’ll be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and safely removing established beehives from walls, roofs, trees, and other structural areas.
This position requires a blend of field expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer communication, representing the Mega Bee brand with professionalism and pride in every job.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe and effective bee removals from walls, roofs, trees, and other structures using professional equipment and industry-approved techniques.
- Remove hive material, including comb and honey, and apply pheromone neutralizers and sealants to prevent re-infestation.
- Apply appropriate corrective treatments as needed for residual bee activity.
- Prepare detailed service reports with before-and-after photos and notes.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and next steps clearly with customers.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, organization, and readiness according to the White Glove Standard.
- Safely operate tools, ladders, and lifts as required.
- Follow all safety and PPE protocols at all times.
- Support other team members and projects when needed.
- Upsell and educate customers when possible
Qualifications & Skills
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate clients and build long-term relationships.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using hand tools, ladders, and mobile apps for reporting and navigation.
- Sales Awareness: Ability to identify and recommend service opportunities that benefit the client.
- Physical Ability: Capable of climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
- Safety Mindset: Committed to safety and environmental responsibility in all service practices.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
