Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs, offering knowledgeable recommendations.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments.
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest.
- Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and presenting relevant options to increase sales.
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales area is clean and inviting.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette.
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, cycle counts, and reporting low stock levels for timely reordering.
- Support supervising staff in daily operations when needed, including training new team members on store procedures and customer service techniques.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Experience
- Previous HVAC experience required
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is essential for accurate transactions.
