You will be the first point of contact with our customers for our busy office. Each day you will be responsible for answering multiple forms of communication, providing customer service, greeting office visitors throughout the day, processing payments and policy changes, and other additional clerical duties as needed. Ideal schedule would be Monday-Friday from 9 am to 1 pm, with additional hours possible as needed for coverage. If everything else is a fit except these hours, please apply and note your availability. This role could grow into full-time as the agency continues to grow.

Responsibilities
- Office opening tasks (& closing tasks if scheduled to close)
- Appointment scheduling & reminders
- Handle all communications on phone, agency text, email, and agency email
- Prepare mailings
- Complete tasks on agency notification lists
- Greet all walk-ins, offer drink and snack, ask how you can help
- Make detailed notes in CRM for each interaction
- Call clients to schedule insurance reviews
- Gather information needed for quotes from prospects
- Process premium payments
- Complete policy changes
- Collect outstanding documents
- Submit claims and manage follow ups
Requirements
- Indiana Property & Casualty License (If you don't already have your license, you can obtain it upon starting as a condition of employment)
- Indiana Life & Health License (If you don't already have your license, you can obtain it upon starting as a condition of employment)
- Customer service experience
- Experience working in multiple systems at once
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage interruptions
- Empathy for customers experiencing life-altering circumstances
- Willingness to use resources provided for assistance
Salary : $20,000 - $30,000
