Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children during camp activities, ensuring they are safe, happy, and actively participating.
- Implement age-appropriate programs that include sports, arts and crafts, theater, outdoor games, and educational lessons aligned with camp goals.
- Manage group dynamics with effective classroom management techniques to promote respectful behavior and cooperation among children.
- Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or safety concerns following established protocols.
- Support children with special needs or learning differences by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists as needed.
- Foster a positive environment by encouraging teamwork, inclusivity, and good sportsmanship among campers.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress or concerns while maintaining confidentiality.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, tutoring, or camp programs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Skills in classroom management and behavior management strategies to maintain a structured yet fun atmosphere.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure safety during camp activities.
- Experience in sports coaching, theater arts, or other areas that can enhance the camper experience.

Current Positions:
Group Leader; Group leaders travel with their group from activity to activity to help support campers throughout their camp experience.
This position runs from June 29th -August 21st, with a mandatory week of staff training June 22nd-June 26th. Hours are 8:45am-4:15pm Monday- Friday. Part time or partial summer positions will be considered.
Pay: $545.00 - $650.00 per week
