We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our dedicated team in Manchester NH for day shifts, evening shifts and weekend shifts. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor residents’ health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption to promote proper nutrition
- Support medication administration following care plans and ensure proper documentation of all patient care activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed
- Engage residents through meaningful social activities, companionship, and cognitive exercises to promote mental well-being
- Follow established care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, personalized support for residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, autism or other disabilities
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home settings or group homes is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately
- Additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care experience are a plus
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia or memory care needs is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist residents with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or Stand Lift.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach to patient care and social work principles
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards
