What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA / HHA / Homemaker position at Meetcaregivers?
MeetCaregivers is a home care agency that provides convenient in-home services to elderly and disabled clients who need assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). We are currently seeking fully vaccinated, reliable, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Homemakers to provide personal care and daily living support in accordance with established care plans throughout Rhode Island.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
Qualifications:
- Willingness and ability to work in Newport, Tiverton, and Portsmouth, RI
- Previous experience in nursing, patient care, home care, or a related field. (preferred but not required)
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Demonstrated compassionate, patient-centered, and caring approach
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology and care procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team
Responsibilities:
- Offer companionship and support while delivering basic personal care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain medical tools and equipment
- Assist with transporting or transferring patients as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
