Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Scientist II to support analytical development activities for biologics and large molecule programs. The primary focus of this position is performing LC-MS analysis of large molecules on a day-to-day basis while supporting method development, optimization, and analytical testing throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing using LC-MS, HPLC/UPLC, SEC, CE, and other biochemical and biophysical techniques.
- Conduct daily LC-MS analysis of large molecule samples to support analytical development activities.
- Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and buffers while maintaining accurate laboratory documentation.
- Support method development, optimization, qualification, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior scientists.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, summarize findings, and contribute to technical reports.
- Coordinate instrument maintenance, manage laboratory inventory, and ensure compliance with SOPs and laboratory safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and support continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in analytical development, quality control, or a related laboratory environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with LC-MS is required; experience analyzing large molecules is highly preferred.
- Experience with chromatographic and biochemical analytical techniques, including HPLC/UPLC, SEC, CE, or electrophoresis.
- Knowledge of analytical method development, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
