Pay: From $16.00 per hourJob description:Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at a vibrant Taiwanese dessert restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Asian desserts/teas and providing exceptional customer service.Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a variety of tea beverages/desserts following restaurant's recipes- Operate the POS system to process customer orders accurately- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and work area- Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and serving customers promptly- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or pastries- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations- Utilize retail math skills for cash handling and transactions- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during peak hoursQualifications- Previous experience working in a bubble tea shop or similar food service environment is preferred- Knowledge of tea brewing techniques- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner- Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures- Proficient in basic math for handling transactions accurately- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficientlyJob Type: Part-timeBenefits:Employee discountShift:Day shiftEvening shiftApplication Question(s):Are you available to work both weekday and weekends?Our shift hours are Opening (11:00am-4:30pm) and Closing (4:30pm-9:30pm).
