Seasonal WH Warehouse Associate

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Seasonal Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations during peak seasons, ensuring efficient handling of materials, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and familiarity with heavy equipment, safety protocols, and inventory management systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced logistics environment while contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders
• Load and unload shipments utilizing pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, and cranes following OSHA safety standards
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklift, crane, and other material handling machinery safely and efficiently
• Support shipping & receiving activities, including verifying inventory accuracy and preparing items for dispatch
• Manage materials handling tasks including heavy lifting, stacking, and organizing stock in designated areas
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels

Skills

• Prior warehouse distribution experience preferred; knowledge of order picker operations is a plus
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use
• Mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Construction or materials handling background is advantageous
• Previous warehouse supervisor or leadership experience is a plus for potential future growth opportunities
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently

• Are you comfortable in working in evening shift as well. Normal Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Evening Shift Requirement: 4:00 am - 8:00 pm/9:00 pm. We can still give you 8 hours/per day. Or less house if you prefer?
