What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Assistant/ Uhaul Assistant position at Meer Electric?
PART TIME: We are looking for a lead assistant to help in the warehouse by keeping things organized, helping with transfers, and sorting deliveries. As well as helping check out trucks and trailers for U-Haul customers since we are a certified U-Haul dealer. The hours would be 12:30pm-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Great job for a college student that has classes in the afternoon!
Daily tasks would include:
- Checking in trucks & trailers that were returned overnight
- Complete transfers via computer program for material that was moved from warehouse to trucks
-Complete delivery by labeling all items and putting it in designated bin
-Completing an inventory of certain areas of the warehouse throughout the month
- Making sure the warehouse area is cleaned and organized throughout the week
- Outside most of the day, moving around trucks and trailers up and down the lot
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with customer service
- Organization skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
