The Internal Consultant - PFS (Primerica Financial Services) partners closely with the Regional Consultant to support and strengthen relationships with our PFS advisor clients. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as it involves frequent collaboration with internal teammates and direct interaction with financial advisors. The successful candidate will bring a working knowledge of the financial services industry and related processes in order to effectively deliver investment and practical management support. This position also calls for a high level of daily proactiveness, along with a demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing positively as a team member.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with Regional (External) Consultant to manage the US to attain both sales and revenue goals within the PFS Channel.
Conduct outreach (phone calls, emails, web-meetings) to Primerica financial advisors, including prospecting, scheduling, product information, and sales and marketing campaign calls.
Articulate investment solutions and strategies and discuss financial markets (domestic and international).
Identify and support sales opportunities and advisor needs, advance relationships, and introduce new sales concepts.
Proactively work with various departments/teammates within the organization to provide exceptional service and support to our Primerica Financial Advisors across the US.
Handle daily territory management tasks, including client prospecting, CRM management, servicing clients and expanding relationships by cross-selling appropriate products and/or services and serving as a point of contact for Meeder Funds, ensuring compliance with industry and legal regulations and best practices, and adherence to company processes and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required.
3-4 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry preferred; equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
FINRA Series 6 or 7 & 63 (or 66) and 65 preferred (Required within 90-days of hire).
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office product suite.

Proven client-focused consultative sales approach, including the ability to listen to clients/prospects needs and help identify and present appropriate solutions.
Ability to overcome objections.
