Founding Solutions Architect 📍 Location: Remote (US) | Austin, TX Preferred 💼 Employment Type: Full-time 💰 Base Salary: $110,000 - $160,000 per year 💵 On-Target Earnings (OTE): $200,000 - $320,000 📈 Equity: 0.25% - 0.5% 🛂 Visa Sponsorship: Not Available About the Role We are seeking a Founding Solutions Architect to join our fast-growing AI startup as the first Go-to-Market (GTM) hire.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder and help shape the company's sales and technical strategy while building AI-powered solutions for manufacturing and logistics customers.

This role is a 50/50 blend of Solutions Engineering and Technical Sales, where you'll engage with customers, build proof-of-concepts, and drive technical sales from discovery through implementation. Key

• Visit customer sites, including factories and logistics centers, to understand operational challenges and recommend technical solutions.
• Design and deliver live product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts using customer video data.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for the engineering team.
• Own the technical sales process from discovery through contract close.
• Support outbound sales efforts through customer outreach, conferences, and pipeline generation.
• Expand existing customer accounts by identifying new AI and computer vision use cases.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure successful customer deployments.

What we are looking for

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience selling technical solutions into the manufacturing industry (required).
• Experience selling into industrial automation or physical security markets.
• Experience working with companies in video AI, computer vision, surveillance, IoT, or smart devices is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with camera hardware, edge devices, and networking.
• Ability to write code in any programming language.
• Strong technical problem-solving and customer communication skills.
• Experience building technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturers or logistics customers.
• Background in computer vision, video analytics, AI, or IoT technologies.
• Comfortable traveling to customer locations when required.
• Based in the United States, with Austin, TX strongly preferred.
