Our innovative solutions and support create synergies and efficiency for our customers. MedVantage is seeking a full-time Technical Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our location-based team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance on MedVantage proprietary products and software to all external customers and internal MedVantage users. In addition to supporting customers via phone and e-mail, you will be hands on with in-house technical repairs of the MedVantage proprietary products.

This position is office based with some travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues: Troubleshoot and fix problems with hardware, software, and network connectivity for end-users.
  • Provide user support: Guide users through software installation, system setup, and routine use of applications.
  • Handle customer inquiries: Respond to technical questions and concerns via phone, email, video chat, or in-person.
  • Document and report: Log all calls, issues, and solutions. Report recurring problems to supervisors to identify trends.
  • Escalate complex issues: Transfer difficult or unresolvable problems to senior technicians or specialized teams.
  • Maintain systems: Assist with hardware upgrades, software updates, and system maintenance as needed.
  • Educate users: Develop and deliver technical training to help users understand and use systems effectively

Technical and Soft Skills

  • Operating Systems: Proficiency with major operating systems like Windows
  • Hardware and Software: Knowledge of computer components, troubleshooting hardware, and installing/upgrading software.
  • Networking: Understanding of network fundamentals, configuration, and troubleshooting issues with connectivity.
  • Security: Basic cybersecurity knowledge, including virus and malware prevention, antivirus software, and user education.
  • Remote Support: Familiarity with remote desktop tools for assisting users remotely.
  • Mobile Device Management: Ability to support and manage mobile devices in a corporate environment.
  • Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud computing and administration.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues logically and efficiently.
  • Communication: Clearly explaining technical information to users with varying levels of technical knowledge, both verbally and in writing.
  • Customer Service: A customer-oriented mindset with patience, empathy, and a focus on user satisfaction.
  • Time Management: Juggling multiple tasks and prioritizing support tickets to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Being meticulous to avoid errors in configurations or troubleshooting.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as they evolve.
  • Analytical Thinking: Evaluating system performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree or a Associate degree in computer science/ Information technology or a high school diploma with strong experience or IT certifications
