Job Responsibilities And Essential Duties
- Perform bench development test functions and debug of designs.
- Provide technician supervision including assignments, training, technical support.
- Provide lab management, test equipment management, procurement of consumables.
- May supervise Electronic or lab technicians.
- Manage audit requirements such as wrist strap testing.
- Write, release and execute lab test protocols.
- Create and release test fixture documentation.
- Must have solid R&D lab experience with strong electronic background
- Solid knowledge and experience with engineering practices and the use of industry standard test equipment
- Ability to work through debug and problem resolution
- Understanding of the theory behind testing and capable of creating verification documents
- Strong knowledge and experience using oscilloscopes, emulators, logic analyzers, EMI receivers
- Ability to assemble and repair systems as well as boards and modules
- Ability to communicate within their discipline and with others who are not as technically trained
- Strong understanding of digital design to test and correct issues
- Supervisory skills to assign tasks and provide management with status of schedules
- 5 years or equivalent experience that includes electronics and R&D experience
- Good oral and written communication skill
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
