A Day in the Life An exciting brand-new opportunity for an experienced marketer to join Medtronic’s Surgical business as Senior Product Manager. In this role, you will report into the Senior Marketing Manager and will play a vital role in driving portfolio performance, strategy execution, and commercial excellence for the Signia™ and TriStaple™ Advanced Surgical Stapling business across ANZ. This role operates with a higher level of autonomy, strategic ownership, and cross-functional leadership and is expected to lead complex initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and act as a key interface between ANZ and Global Product teams. We are flexible on candidate location but require willingness to travel to Sydney office as required. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Portfolio Strategy & Leadership Own and drive the Signia™ and TriStaple™ Advanced Surgical Stapling strategy, aligned to Surgical and Global priorities across ANZ Convert market, clinical, customer, and competitive insights into clear strategic choices and growth initiatives through the Annual Marketing Leadership Plan (MLP) Lead portfolio lifecycle planning including demand planning, SKU rationalisation, and innovation adoption with broader strategic thinking beyond the annual plan Ability to influence stakeholders without authority Commercial & Business Performance Accountable for portfolio performance including revenue growth, share development, pricing integrity, and margin protection Partner with Finance, Contracts, Regulatory, HEPR and Enterprise teams on healthcare economics, tenders and pricing strategy Actively identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans across public and private segments New Product Launch Excellence Lead New Product Launch Excellence from business case through execution and post-launch optimisation, including Hugo RAS - tethered technology. Define and refine value propositions, messaging, and differentiation for key customer segments Sales Enablement & Field Impact Own the sales enablement strategy for the portfolio – tools, messaging, and cadence Act as senior portfolio representative in major customer meetings and conferences, clinical forums, and strategic accounts where required – must be able to travel within ANZ and to the Sydney Head Office for team meetings and events. Cross-Functional & Global Leadership Lead effective collaboration with Global Marketing, Medical Education, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and Clinical teams Represent ANZ needs, insights, and challenges back into Global forums Ensure all portfolio activities are compliant with competition law, regulatory standards, and Medtronic policies Team & Capability Contribution Collaboration and high performing culture is key to the success of the One Surgical Marketing Team.
