What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Salesforce Tester (Northridge, CA) position at Medtronic?
- Successfully resolve issues within defined service levels.
- Isolate issues determine root cause, and outline effective options to resolve issues
- Interact with colleagues and business partners to confirm requirements, as well as ensure solution meets needs
- Create & update appropriate documentation
- Utilize applicable tools to facilitate adequate systems testing, monitoring & troubleshooting
- Contribute to identify and implement continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and maximize value to clients
- Maintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies
- Work independently to estimate, design and deliver solutions
- Ability to multi-task assignments and exercise judgment regarding escalations to senior team members or vendor
- Maintain a productive relationship with Stakeholders, Process Owners, Technical and Functional Peers through effective communications and collaboration
- Develop and maintain a strong practical understanding of technologies currently deployed within the department.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of software testing experience
- Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of software testing experience
- 4 years of experience in Salesforce Testing activities
- Certified Administrator (ADM-201).
- Experience aligning QA processes with Agile/Scrum methodology, sprint planning, and execution.
- Experience with SFDC Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Create validation and compliance documents to include test plan and test summary reports.
- Work with onsite/offshore SME’S to create test cases using Microfocus UFT.
- Create and execute manual test cases as required via Microfocus ALM.
- Create / Coordinate defects in JIRA and Microfocus ALM tool.
- Create and maintain regression strategy for SFDC, perform impact analysis and determine SFDC regression scope.
- Validates testing for SOX & GXP compliances and FDA regulatory to include Title 21 CFR Part 11, FDA CFR Part 820.
