Staff Pharmacist

We are a well-established, independent community pharmacy in Garland, Texas (DFW metro) seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join our team. Position Highlights

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 AM 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM 6:00 PM (flexible start/end times within this window depending on coverage needs).
• No weekends. No holidays.
• Low walkin traffic and a fully staffed pharmacy with experienced technicians and support personnel, allowing you to focus on clinical care, patient consultations, and accurate dispensing rather than constant interruptions.
• Competitive compensation package, including base salary, benefits, and potential performance incentives.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus we serve a diverse patient population Nationwide.

What You’ll Do

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide patient counseling on medications, adherence, side effects, and wellness topics.
• Collaborate with our experienced pharmacy team on daily operations, inventory management, and workflow optimization.
• Utilize our BestRx pharmacy management system for efficient processing and documentation.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients, prescribers, and the local community.
• Support occasional clinical initiatives (immunizations, medication therapy management, etc.) as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, teamoriented culture focused on patient safety and service excellence.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist license in good standing Multistate Licensure is a plus.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, clinical knowledge, and commitment to patientcentered care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
• Prior community or independent pharmacy experience preferred, but we are open to strong candidates from other settings who are eager to thrive in a lowervolume, relationshipdriven environment.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) highly valued but not required.
