Job Summary
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM, No Weekends
We are seeking a motivated and driven Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our pharmacists in processing prescriptions, coordinating delivery with patients and delivery couriers, liaising between medical clinics and law firms, and ensuring accurate and timely medication delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of workers' compensation and personal injury cases, and a commitment to regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Process and fill prescription orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Verify patient and prescription information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Communicate with prescribers’ offices to obtain clarifications, patient information, and resolve prescription issues.
Assist in managing inventory, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Coordinate medication shipments and ensure timely delivery to injured patients.
Communicate with dedicated courier teams to resolve shipment issues.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries regarding prescriptions, medication refills, and order status.
Maintain accurate documentation of prescription records, billing, and claim submissions.
Comply with all Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations and other applicable laws.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and patient care.
