Job Summary:
As a Nutrition Aide, you will be responsible for effectively communicating with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays, cafeteria tray line and floor stock. The Host/Hostess must feel comfortable entering patients rooms and interacting with our patients and guests.
This is a PRN opportunity. You will be scheduled as needed and be required to work rotating weekends.
Primary Duties:
· Takes patient food orders according to dietary/allergy restrictions.
· Delivers food carts to correct floor or patient area.
· Serves trays to patients and assisting with opening containers or cutting foods when requested.
· Helps prep/serve food in the cafeteria.
· Collect trays and places garbage and trash in designated containers.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· 1 year of work related experience preferred.
