MedStar Health is looking for a Full-Time (7:30am - 4:30pm) Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team at MedStar Women's Health. This position will work out MedStar Georgetown Hospital Center and MedStar at Lafayette Center.
Performs complex and specialized sonographic imaging procedures for both routine and high risk obstetrical and gynecological patients.

Primary Duties:
· Adheres to department policies, procedures, and quality standards while complying with governmental and accreditation regulations.
· Conducts various ultrasonography exams, including fetal anatomy surveys, gestational assessments, and gynecological scans, collaborating with physicians on results.
· Provides guidance to students, residents, and fellows, participates in quality assurance activities, and serves as an educational resource.
· Maintains ultrasound equipment, reports issues, assists in supply stocking, and explores new technologies to enhance patient care and reduce costs.
· Works with departments to improve patient flow, recommends policy and procedure enhancements, and stays current through continuing education.
· Qualifications:
· An associate’s degree (required) or one to four years formal training in Ultrasonography that meets ARDMS registry pre-requisites (required)
· 1-2 years Clinical experience in OB/GYN ultrasonography (required)
