MedStar Health is looking for an Emergency Psychiatric Services (EPS) Coordinator Part-time to join our team at MedStar St Mary's Hospital!
As an EPS Coordinator, you will maintain responsibility for evaluating patients in the Emergency Department who present with psychiatric or related problems. Acts as consultant to staff in Emergency Department. Performs crisis intervention and counseling, support, and referral services to psychiatric patients and their families as needed.

Primary Duties:
Prepares Emergency Room On-Call Coverage Schedule. Gather statistics and submit monthly.
Participates in grant renewal. Submits payroll according to established cycle.
Responsible for quality improvement monitors. Provides input for evaluation of Mental Health Professionals.
Monitors budget. Performs psychiatric assessments and mental status evaluations on all patients who present in the Emergency Department with psychiatric disorders or complaints
Qualifications:
Master’s degree MSW or MSN (with licensure in the State of MD) and Master’s degree in Counseling; or Doctoral degree.
3-4 years’ clinical experience related to mental health.
