What You'll Do
Direct Care Workers may assist clients with:
- Personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
- Mobility assistance, ambulation, and transfers
- Guided exercises
- Light housekeeping including vacuuming, dishes, laundry, and dusting
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Transportation to appointments
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and emotional support
Qualifications
- One year of home care experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to complete a criminal background check
- Ability to complete or provide a two-step TB test
- Dependable and responsible
- Compassionate and patient
