What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management
- Develop individualized treatment plans for a broad patient base
- Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health consultants, and other care team members
- Utilize evidence-based practices and tools like UpToDate to guide clinical decisions
- Manage thorough documentation, appropriate coding, and patient follow-up
- Occasionally participate in local community outreach and home-based care (with safety protocols)
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license
- DEA certification
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 3 years of experience in primary care or psychiatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with working with low-income populations and navigating complex insurance systems
- Strong teamwork mindset and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
