Projected Compensation: Approximately $7,200 monthly for MD/DO or $6,200 monthly for NP/PA, plus skin sweeps and biologics. Earnings depend on patient volume and procedures.
MedStaff Group is recruiting on behalf of a growing wound care organization seeking a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to provide wound care services in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities throughout Northern Vermont.
Territory CoverageThe territory includes 5 facilities in Burlington, Barre, and Saint Albans, with approximately 55–60 encounters per week. Providers must be comfortable traveling between assigned facilities.
Position Highlights- Part-time schedule, 2–3 days per week.
- Facility-based wound care with no evenings or weekends.
- Productivity-based compensation with additional earning opportunities through procedures and biologics.
- Comprehensive wound care training and clinical support.
- Malpractice insurance covered.
- Assess wounds, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Perform debridement and minor procedures within your scope of practice.
- Collaborate with facility nursing teams and counsel patients.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Active, unrestricted Vermont MD, DO, NP, or PA license and appropriate credentials.
- For NP/PA candidates, minimum 2 years of independent practice experience.
- Wound care or long-term care experience preferred; wound care training is provided.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
