Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory treatments and monitor patient responses.
- Perform blood gas analysis, EKGs, and respiratory assessments.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate respiratory interventions.
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment.
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment and supplies.
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current North Carolina RRT license
- BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Ability to work night shifts
