Role Description
We are growing our Forensic Engineering group and seeking licensed structural/civil engineers in Southern California to join our team on an as-needed, project-based contract basis. This is a field-focused role — you will conduct site investigations, document findings, and prepare technical reports, while our principals provide expert review and quality control before final submission. This is a fully remote position.
Service regions: Los Angeles · Orange County · San Diego · Central California (Fresno area).
Qualifications
- Field Service and Technical Support skills to conduct investigations, assess structural conditions, and document findings
- Licensed PE in California (SE license a strong plus)
- 3 years Forensic, insurance, or construction defect experience required
- 3 years of forensic structural/civil engineering experience
- Ability to travel within Southern California
- Must be able to work on a 1099 independent contractor basis
