Role Description The Data Scientist – Value-Based Care Analytics is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role focuses on analyzing clinical, operational, and financial data to support value-based care initiatives, including improving patient outcomes, reducing unnecessary utilization, and optimizing reimbursement models. The Data Scientist will build and maintain analytics pipelines, develop predictive and prescriptive models, and create dashboards and reports to inform leadership decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clinical, operations, and finance teams to define analytical questions, cleaning and validating data from multiple sources, and translating findings into actionable recommendations. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators, supporting quality improvement projects, and contributing to the design of data-driven strategies that enhance care delivery across MEDRITE centers.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Data Science and Statistics, with the ability to apply quantitative methods to healthcare and value-based care problems.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis for working with large, complex datasets and generating meaningful insights.
- Experience with Data Visualization tools and techniques to build clear, informative dashboards and reports for non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages commonly used in analytics (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Background in healthcare analytics, population health, or value-based care models (e.g., risk adjustment, quality metrics, cost-of-care analysis) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to diverse stakeholders.
