What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pulmonologist position at Medrina?
We are a large physician-owned group expanding in the Hartford, CT area. As part of our Respiratory Program, we are seeking a pulmonologist to join our team consulting, overseeing NPs providing consults, with profit-sharing opportunities. We offer generous compensation, flexible scheduling, and no on-call requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience working with respiratory patients in an acute, post-acute, or Pulmonologist's office setting.
- Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Connecticut license
- Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology
- Active DEA license
- Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
- Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
Scheduling Options:
- Full-Time 30-40 hours per week
- Part-Time 10- 20 hours per week

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
- Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.
- Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
